Last week, we officially launched DHAC UAE. On paper, creating a subsidiary in Dubai could have been simple: take what works in Switzerland, duplicate it, adapt a few local details, and voilà.
But at DHAC, we made a different choice.
We decided to treat DHAC UAE not as a simple extension, but as a real startup. An opportunity to rethink everything. To challenge ourselves. To push beyond our limits.
And what happened next? We absolutely didn't see it coming.
The catalyst: creating as if it were the first time
When our team started working on dhac.ae, we had a particular energy. The energy of beginnings. The energy where everything is possible.
We asked ourselves the right questions:
- How does an entrepreneur in Dubai discover our services?
- What will convince them in 30 seconds on our website?
- How do we make our value proposition crystal clear?
- What user experience for 2025?
We iterated, tested, simplified. We rethought every page, every journey, every message. Not out of obligation, but because we wanted to do it really well.
The result? A website we were proud of. Modern, clear, effective.
The unexpected twist: "Your UAE site is better than the Swiss one"
Then the first feedback started coming in.
"Your new website is really well done!"
"It's much clearer than your Swiss site..."
"You should update dhac.ch, the UAE one is more modern!"
Moment of humility.
They were right. Completely right.
Our Swiss website, the one that had served us well since our beginnings, was showing its age. Not that it was bad, but compared to dhac.ae, it lacked punch, clarity, modernity.
The subsidiary had just surpassed the parent company. And that was excellent news.
The boomerang effect: when the subsidiary inspires the parent company
Rather than feeling embarrassed, we took this for what it was: an opportunity.
Decision made: we were going to rebuild dhac.ch.
Not out of obligation, but because it's our DNA. At DHAC, we help our clients optimize their processes, gain clarity, digitalize. How could we not apply these same principles to ourselves?
Today, dhac.ch has been completely redesigned (we're still translating some pages, but the essential is there). Same spirit, same standards, same drive to excel.
The UAE project didn't just allow us to extend our geographic presence. It pushed us to become better, everywhere.
The lesson: innovation comes from the courage to question yourself
This story teaches us something important:
Innovation doesn't always come from where you expect it.
Sometimes, it's by stepping out of your comfort zone, by creating something new, that you realize you can improve what already exists. Sometimes, it's the "youngest" that teaches lessons to the older siblings.
At DHAC, we deeply believe in this culture:
- ✨ Never satisfied: what works today can be improved tomorrow
- 🚀 Always curious: every new project is a learning opportunity
- 💡 Humble and ambitious: accepting we can do better, and doing it
This is exactly what we apply with our clients. Their accounting "works"? Yes, but it could be automated. Their reporting exists? Yes, but it could be real-time. Their processes hold up? Yes, but they could save them 20 hours per month.
2 websites, 2 markets, 1 DNA
Today, we have two brand new websites:
Two showcases of the same philosophy: Swiss precision applied to digital finance, with an obsession for continuous improvement.
Because at DHAC, we never settle for "what already works."
And this is just the beginning. 🌍
