DHAC is growing: welcome to Romain, our new partner in charge of Medi-Finance & Insurance
At DHAC, we believe that the quality of a fiduciary service rests above all on the people who deliver it every day. That's why we are especially pleased to announce the arrival of Romain Geissmann, who joins our Geneva team to lead our Medi-Finance offering as well as our insurance offering.
A path shaped by finance, operations and hands-on experience
Romain is no newcomer to the world of finance. After several years at UBS, he served as Head of Operations at BB Energy Switzerland, building over 16 years of experience in oil trading and physical operations. There, he managed logistics, P&L tracking, contract negotiation and banking relationships end-to-end for international commodity flows.
But beyond this career in banking and trading, it's a more personal experience that sparked his interest in supporting doctors: over the years, Romain had the opportunity to help several physicians set up their private practices, on a personal basis and through his network. This gave him a first-hand view of just how complicated this journey can be between administrative procedures, choosing the right legal structure, and bank negotiations. It is this concrete, lived experience, more than his professional background alone, that is now driving him to structure and professionalise this kind of support within DHAC.
Sixteen years in banking and then commodity trading have also allowed him to build an extensive network of contacts - bankers, insurers, lawyers, entrepreneurs - which he now puts to work for DHAC's clients, in particular to facilitate financing processes and useful introductions when setting up a practice.
At the same time, Romain is currently completing his FINMA insurance specialist qualification, an expertise he is putting directly to use at DHAC by now heading our insurance offering, so that our clients are not only well managed, but also well protected.
An arrival that reflects DHAC's growth
DHAC was founded on a clear conviction: SMEs and independent professionals deserve fiduciary support that is both rigorous and digital. Since our beginnings, we have steadily expanded our client portfolio in Geneva, and also in Dubai through dhac.ae.
Romain's arrival is no coincidence: it reflects our commitment to structuring and strengthening our support for doctors and healthcare professionals setting up in private practice. Romain is now taking charge of our Medi-Finance offering, designed to support these professionals from A to Z: legal structure, administrative procedures (AMedS, RCC, DEP/CARA), accounting and tax.

In concrete terms, Romain's arrival means:
- Stronger, specialised support for doctors setting up in private practice in Geneva, grounded in hands-on experience rather than theory alone
- Easier access to a broad network of contacts (banks, insurers, lawyers) built over 16 years in finance and trading
- A new insurance offering, to protect our entrepreneur clients beyond accounting and tax management alone
Romain is already up and running and available to talk with doctors planning a practice setup or looking for insurance support. Our goal: to offer our clients a single point of contact able to cover the full range of their needs, from the numbers to the protection.
